Our Safer Appointment Process

With the novel coronavirus continuing to be a public health concern in California and throughout the U.S., we have gradually reopened our practice locations with special precautions designed to keep our patients and staff healthy. The primary focus is to minimize the chance of spreading the virus that can cause COVID-19.

First, I want to point out that all of the practice employees have been tested for COVID. We also take the temperatures of all employees at the start of each day, and they document that they are not experiencing any COVID symptoms prior to starting work.

If you’ve been to our plastic surgery practice in Sacramento or Granite Bay before, here are some of the changes you may notice:

  • All employees wearing masks at all times
  • Employees maintaining appropriate social distancing
  • Carefully disinfecting exam rooms after each patient
  • Frequent cleaning of the entire office

We are also asking that all patients wear masks throughout their visits and agree to have their temperatures taken. If you’re scheduled for a surgical procedure, you will need to get tested for COVID prior to the surgery date, and we’re asking surgical patients to self-isolate for a specific time period. We’ll discuss this in detail so you’re prepared.

These are definitely challenging times for all of us, and we appreciate your support of these measures. The safety of our patients has always been the first priority of Dr. Yamahata and our staff, and that commitment will continue as we all strive to keep our community healthy.

Thank you.
